ISLAMABAD: Chairman Awami Muslim League Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that he wanted to burn down Nawaz Sharif`s ‘palace’, during November 2 lockdown of Islamabad.

Addressing the participants of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf`s ‘celebratory rally’ on Wednesday, Sheikh Rasheed said that he was disappointed after knowing that the lockdown was called off.

“Perhaps, I would have said good bye to my politics after toppling the government,” he said.

Turning his vitriol on Pakistan Peoples` Party, he said that the entire nation knows who is Dr Asim and who is behind him. Taking a jibe at the Opposition Leader Khurshid Shah, he said: “Don’t worry double Shah, your leader is next in line. He is the one who begged forgiveness through Rehman Malik and licked the army boots.”
